ArtsTrain
The ArtsTrain is a new urban music project run by Bromley Mytime, that gives young people the opportunity to try a range of art forms and work alongside industry professionals to gain new skills. The project offers a range of exciting vreative music programmes across the borough. The project has three "Platforms". Bromley Guitar Society -
Founded in 1982 to encourage interest in the classical guitar. Members are given the opportunity to perform at meetings. Visits by great artists are also arranged occasionally. Not just classical guitar enthusiasts, all guitar enthusiasts are welcome
Bromley Festival
Founded in 1928 to advance public interest in Music and Speech. It promotes an annual competitive festival in March, providing opportunities for performers of all ages to perform publicly and be assessed and encouraged by expert adjudicators. Follow the link for more information:
Orpington Folk Club
Orpington Folk Music and Song Club exists to promote folk music and song. It is a non profit making organisation and is for those who wish to listen to or take part in an informal evening of folk music and song.
