When did you last use your local library?

There’s plenty going on for 11-19 year olds at Bromley Libraries. Why not come down and have a look at what’s going on.

At your local library you can………………….

  • Surf the internet and check your e mail- Just sit down at front of a computer and start surfing. Free wi-fi connection available at the Central Library in Bromley
  • Join the library and borrow books-You don’t have to be a member to use libraries. Anyone can come in and read books and magazines and access the internet. To make the most of the library then you should join. It’s free any easy- you can do it on this website.
  • Read- All libraries have collections of stories by popular teenage authors ranging from Robert Muchamore to Louise Rennison. We have graphic novels, T V tie ins and Manga as well as magazines, newspapers and books to help with school or college work.
  • Find out- all about clubs and activities going on in your area
  • Join a Teenage Reading Group- make new friends, share your favourite books and music, explore new authors and titles. Help choose the books you want to read. Meet your favourite authors. If this sounds like your sort of thing then join a TRG. Aimed at 12-16 year olds now running at 4 libraries.

What else is going on at your library? You can

  • Hire the latest CD’s
  • Borrow great movies on DVD’s

You have to pay a charge to borrow these, but it doesn’t cost the earth!
