BROMLEY DISTRICT CRICKET COACHING
BDCC works in partnership with the Kent Cricket Board and Bromley Mytime to increase the number of people playing cricket and to improve the overall standard across the Borough. They are based at the Kent County Cricket Club on Worsley Bridge Road, Beckenham.
BDCC is responsible for:
- Organising and delivering cricket coaching and development within the borough
- Running community open coaching courses as well as representative coaching courses
- Delivering schools courses for both boys and girls including special needs
- Developing close links between schools and all local clubs.
- Organising, in partnership with Education – schools Festivals and competitions.
- Organising, selecting and training Bromley District Cricket Squads
- Assisting coaches with their personal development.
Representatives from local clubs' junior sections, schools, coaches, officials, and Bromley Mytime together form the Bromley District Development Group (BDDG). The group maintains and implements a District Development Plan for cricket in Bromley with BDCC as the delivery agent
