Sport England -
Use this central website to find out more about national sporting organisations, sport, physical activity and education, including a full list of National Governing Bodies (NGB's) and recognised sports. Plus links to other organisations not directly connected to sport which may prove useful, but if you want more information on more localised issues, check out the Sport England SE Region page.
Sports Coach UK (ScUK) -
If you would like to learn more about gaining coaching Awards in sport - have a look at ScUK website - Sports coach UK is a charitable organisation and is the lead agency for development of the UK Coaching System.
Youth Sport Trust (YST) -
YST is a registered charity, established in 1994, and it's main aim is to build a brighter future for young people by enhancing the quality of their physical education (PE) and sporting opportunities.
Skills Active -
Skills Active is the organisation that links employers with training providers, other agencies and individuals to ensure the importantance of communicating the necessary skills and policies required to get to the heart of the active leisure and learning sector needs.
English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) -
The EFDS is national body responsible for developing sport for disabled people in England. They work closely with the six National Disability Sports Organisations (NDSOs) recognised by Sport England to develop sporting opportunities for the 11 million disabled people in England. Disability sporting events can be viewed under the Disability Events link.
