PARKS & OUTDOOR LEISURE
Countryside and nature conservation
Bromley has the largest area of countryside in London; over half our borough is Green Belt countryside and covers some 77sqkm. We own and manage a vast array of countryside sites including woodlands, commons, country parks and other open spaces. Whether it's a gentle stroll, horse-riding, bird watching or even getting involved in practical management of our beautiful Bromley countryside there's something for everyone, of every age to enjoy. Follow the Nature link for more information
Become a park friend or volunteer
Friends groups are made up of volunteers who wish to have a say in how their local parks are maintained, developed and used. It's free and easy to join a Friends group. Follow the link for more information.
