PRO ACTIVE BROMLEY

Welcome to PRO-ACTIVE Bromley, the Community Sport and Physical Activity Network for the London borough of Bromley.

So what is a Community Sport and Physical Activity Network or CSPAN. It is a network of people from across Bromley who have an interest in sport and physical activity.

CSPAN's are part of the Sport England's delivery system for Sport in England. CSPAN's exist across the country and are in-place to identify the needs of the local community and address these needs in the best way possible. The network is an instrument to enhance communication between partners who are aspiring to increase participation in sport and physical activity.

Overall purpose

1) PRO-ACTIVE Bromley is a strategic alliance of partners with an interest in sport and physical activity in Bromley.

2) We are committed to providing locally determined solutions to increase participation and widen access to sport and physical activity for the whole community and to contribute to the achievement of wider social objectives that reduce inequalities.

3) We work co-operatively towards the achievement of agreed outcomes.

Vision

Our vision is to create an active Bromley through sport and physical activity.

Aim

Our aim is to develop and enhance existing relationships and to establish new partnerships and networks, using sport and physical activity as the catalyst, to improve the well being of the people of Bromley.
